Committee for Frankston & Mornington Peninsula Annual Leadership Award
Established in 2025, the Committee for Frankston & Mornington Peninsula will award an Annual Leadership Award to a leader of significance in our community.
The Annual Leadership Award will recognise a local leader who has shown exemplary regional leadership and made a significant contribution to
the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula community.
The Leadership Award will recognise a Corporate Leader, while the Community Award will recognise a volunteer. Both have the same
criteria and nomination process.

Nomination Process
The following criteria will be used in considering and determining the Annual Leadership Award winner.
Nominations are asked to include:
- Tell us how the nominee has displayed leadership.
- Outline the nominee’s leadership qualities.
- What specific outcomes and successes has the nominee achieved?
- Describe any barriers or difficulties the nominee has overcome.
- Who, and how, has the community benefited from the leadership?
- What is the lasting/sustainable legacy of the nominee’s leadership efforts (If relevant)
- 100-word summary of achievements
Assessment
The Committee's board of management will assess the applications, with a successful recipient to be announced at the Committee's Annual General Meeting.
Award Eligibility
Nominations will be called for from the Committee for Frankston & Mornington Peninsula’s membership, however nominations may be received from non-members.
It is not a requirement for nominees to be a member of the Committee for Frankston & Mornington Peninsula.
