Tell us about yourself!
Whilst gaining graduate and postgraduate qualifications in Economics and Finance, most of my working career was spent in Asset Management Services, in senior management roles (including Board member positions - on the Ethical Investment Policy Committee at Standard Life - Scotland), and upon my return to Australia the Self Wealth Advisory Committee, a well regarded online share trading company. At the same time, I began part time Lecturing in Finance/Economics, whilst gaining postgraduate studies in Tertiary Education. Community service has also featured quite strongly. I am Vice President Masters Swimming Victoria (2022 - present) and Board member Myotherapy Association of Australia including member of Finance Sub Committee (2022 - present). Involvement with other volunteer organisations includes: Masters Swimming Development Coach, Christmas day lunch volunteer in Hastings and Mornington, Hastings Community Garden, Southern Peninsula Concert Band, Red Hill Agricultural and Horticultural Society Show, Mt Eliza Garden Club, Camellias Victoria and Landcare in regional Victoria. I am the Founding President of Mornington Peninsula Masters Swimming Club (2020-2023). I have never stood for pre-selection for any political party. I am focussed on promoting the Mornington Peninsula Shire rather than using this position as a stepping stone for any State or Federal party position.
