Kananook Ward, Frankston City Council

Tell us about yourself!

As a proud and active and life-long Frankston resident, I feel I have the expertise to represent my community in council chambers. Having previously run in State and Federal elections, I have met thousands of locals and listened to their concerns for our beloved community, and I plan to continue being a direct connection for community consultation and governance. I am a young mother to my 3-year-old son, a university student, Frankston renter and volunteer. I am currently studying towards a Bachelor in Government and International Relations, while also having just earned a Certificate in Community Leadership and Governance (Local Government). I have an extensive knowledge of our community, with a particular interest for our environment, which has led me to becoming a member of the Kananook Creek Association and South-Eastern Environment Network for the last two years and regularly volunteer for the Frankston and Seaford Beach Patrols. I was also fortunate enough to receive the opportunity to become a member of the ‘Women Leading Locally’ fellowship initiative created by the Victorian State Government.
