Tell us about yourself!
I’m a Tanti Ward resident and ratepayer, a proud father of two, a business owner – and a survivor, having overcome open-heart surgery as a child and a light plane crash in my 20s. These events and other less drastic ones have instilled in me a strong work ethic, a determined spirit, and the ability to approach challenges with a clear head and a balanced perspective. I grew up in Mornington, attended school here, played football for Mornington, and learned to fly at Tyabb Airfield. This deep connection to our community fuels my passion to make Tanti Ward and the Mornington Peninsula the best it can be. For 17 years, I’ve operated a multi award winning business in Mornington, which has given me the chance to listen to, talk to and understand the needs of our community and Mornington’s residents. Through personal experience and engagement with my community, I believe now is the time for me to be part of the solution, no longer a bystander to the system. As a successful local business owner, I understand the challenges facing our community. I’m committed to making Mornington a place where everyone can thrive.
