CfMP Appointment of New CEO

The Board of the Committee for Mornington Peninsula is pleased to announce the appointment of Joshua Sinclair as CEO of the Committee for Mornington Peninsula.

Joshua has lived on the Mornington Peninsula his entire life. After graduating from University, he worked in federal politics in Melbourne’s south east, before working in communications in the NDIS for a not-for-profit children’s disability organisation.

Recently, Joshua has been working for the Victorian Government on the Mornington Peninsula, where he has helped oversee significant investments in schools, improved community facilities, and recovery efforts to the local tourism and hospitality sector after the impacts of Covid-19.

Mr Sinclair comes to the role having been highly recommended by community and business leaders for his bi-partisan approach to working through local issues, integrity, ability to work with all levels of government, and passion for our region.

The Committee for Mornington Peninsula is the peak advocacy body on the Mornington Peninsula. It is an independent, member-based organisation committed to leading and influencing long-term outcomes and contributing to our strategic objectives for the Mornington Peninsula.

The Committee represents its members – including businesses, community organisations, and not for profits - and works beyond electoral cycles and partisan politics to enhance social, economic, and environmental sustainability to improve our regions’ livability, growth, and sustainability.

The Board looks forward to Mr Sinclair bringing his experience, knowledge and determination to achieving positive outcomes for the Mornington Peninsula.
