Local Government Elections

Following the results of local government elections, the Committee would like to congratulate all successful councillors across Frankston City and Mornington Peninsula Shire councils.

It's also important to acknowledge all candidates who put their name forward for election. We'd like to thank those who responded to the Committee's survey which received thousands of views online in the lead up to the election and provided ratepayers with more information about their local candidates.

The partnership between local government and the Committee is crucial in attracting investment and securing the best outcomes from State and Federal Governments for our region.

We look forward to working with both Frankston City Mayor Kris Bolam and Deputy Mayor Steffie Conroy; and Mornington Peninsula Shire Mayor Anthony Marsh and Deputy Mayor Paul Pingiaro.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank outgoing Mornington Peninsula Shire CEO John Baker for his service to the Mornington Peninsula since 2018. We wish John all the best as he heads up to the sunny Sunshine Coast for a new local government CEO role in Queensland.
