May Members Breakfast - Special Guest - Port of Hastings

Committee for Mornington Peninsula Members and guests were briefed by the Port of Hastings at this month's Members Breakfast held at beautiful Sages Cottage in Baxter.

Todd Trimble from the Port of Hastings briefed members on the process surrounding the proposal to establish the Victorian Renewable Energy Terminal out of the Port of Hastings. This project could see the Port become the home of offshore wind assembly in Australia, with the Port perfectly positioned in a deep water port, close to Melbourne and workforce, and with direct access to the offshore wind sites in Bass Strait. 

We were also joined by Member for Mornington, Chris Crewther, and Member for Eastern Victoria, Renee Heath, who were very generous with their time.
