Our CEO appeared on local radio RPPFM to discuss what's in and what's not in the Victorian Budget 26/27 for Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula.

The Mornington Peninsula and to some extent Frankston, appear to be the big losers in Victoria’s 2026–27 State Budget.
The Committee for Frankston &  Mornington Peninsula says there’s little major funding for roads, transport, infrastructure or health.
CEO Josh Sinclair says that leaves the long-promised Rosebud Hospital redevelopment off the government’s immediate radar — despite the issue featuring prominently in the Nepean by-election.

Josh Sinclair, CEO of the Committee for Frankston & Mornington Peninsula, has expressed concern that major transport, infrastructure and road projects have again missed out in this year’s State Budget. Mr Sinclair also says he’s surprised there was no provision for the long-promised Rosebud Hospital redevelopment — despite it being one of the biggest issues during the recent Nepean by-election campaign. He concedes the government has other priorities — but says that means the region misses out once again.

Additionally, there was local newspaper coverage of the Budget this week in Mornington Peninsula News Group newspapers. You can read that story here.
